Bored in Church pastimes
The “Scribble Card for Little (denominational name)” blog got me thinking about my favorite pastimes in church as a kid.
I remember sitting in church as a kid not listening and coloring in all the letters a,e, and o in the church bulletin. Then I would count them. I would also draw mustaches on the staff members or guest speaker pictures if there ever were any. I would look through the hymnal and crack up at some fo the funny titles with my friends.
My favorite pastime during “big church” was to pull fuzz off of my socks and blow it up in the air and see how far it would go and who’s hair it would land in. This really only worked when I was sitting in the balcony. I don’t why no one ever yelled at me for doing this but they didn’t.
